Position
The Pilot Production Facility Manager is responsible for developing and operationalizing a cutting-edge facility, overseeing safety protocols, quality management in compliance with ISO 13485:2016, inventory tracking, documentation, and maintenance procedures. As the role progresses, the focus will shift towards managing daily operations, ensuring that equipment and facilities remain properly maintained, calibrated, and fully compliant with operational standards.
Leading a small cleanroom team, you will coordinate customer use of the facility and ensure that all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are up to date and adhered to by all users. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for facility maintenance, inventory management, waste handling, and serving as the primary point of contact for building management and customer relations.
The role also includes onboarding and training new staff and clients, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvements in production processes. Additionally, the manager will play an active role in setting up, installing, and expanding equipment and facility infrastructure to support ongoing growth and innovation.
Profile
- WO or HBO+ level, preferably a degree in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering or facility management
- At least 5 years of working experience as a production facility manager or coordinator or a similar position
- Experience of working in a GMP-compliant environment and/or class III medical device production environment
- Leadership skills, organized, accurate, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communications skills in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
