Position

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the analytical laboratory team and ensure excellence in quality management. This role is vital in maintaining compliance with site SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and cGxP requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. In this role, you will oversee laboratory operations, ensuring high standards through the effective implementation and enhancement of quality processes and systems. You will manage the recruitment, development, and retention of skilled professionals to build a team capable of achieving quality objectives. Additionally, you will optimize resources and manage the laboratory’s budget to ensure efficient operations. A key focus will be cultivating a sustainable culture of quality across the site by promoting risk-based decision-making and balancing business needs with compliance requirements. You will actively contribute to global quality improvements by sharing best practices, lessons learned, and innovative solutions within the broader quality organisation.

Profile

• bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or hbo+ with several years of experience in a manager position in the pharmaceutical industry;
• must have GMP knowledge and worked in a similar role within Quality Control for at least 5 years;
• experience with pharmaceutical processes, analysis techniques, and cGxP;
• familiar with process automation;
• needs to be result driven, proactively orientated, performance focused, and able to delegate;
• English language essential, Dutch is a pre.
