Position

For a large pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Microbiologist with relevant work experience. In this role, you will contribute to research projects that support the achievement of broader research objectives. Your work primarily involves solving specific aspects of complex problems, usually with a short turnaround time. You will not be working alone, but you will receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues.
You will be responsible for both research and validation. This means that, in addition to performing analyses, you will also play an active role in verifying and ensuring the reliability of results. Your tasks will include qualifying equipment, troubleshooting issues in the lab, and independently planning and coordinating smaller projects. You will also work according to strict GMP guidelines and be involved in change control processes, carefully managing and documenting any changes to procedures and methods. This is a temporary appointment filled on an interim or secondment basis.

Profile

• completed hbo or wo bachelor/master’s degree in microbiology
• experience in the laboratory and approximately 3 years of relevant work experience
• demonstrable experience with project management, equipment qualification, method development, troubleshooting, GMP and change control
• mastered the Dutch language at a professional working and consultation level and fluent in English
